About this service

This independent information website is operated by Summitcloudyorchrd Cycling Media Ltd, 7 Rowan Court, Cambridge CB4 2LF, United Kingdom, company no. 14639082. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].

These terms govern use of the website and its local message-preparation tool. If you do not agree to them, do not use the service. No purchase, account or paid coaching relationship is created by reading a page or contacting us.

Information, not individual advice

Content provides general educational explanations. It is not individual coaching, medical advice, a mechanical inspection, a warranty determination or an assurance of competition eligibility. Follow current manufacturer instructions and event rules. Seek a qualified mechanic for work beyond your competence and an appropriate healthcare professional for medical concerns.

Do not operate device menus or follow troubleshooting steps where doing so would distract from safe riding. Stop in a safe location first. Training and racing carry risks that a connected system cannot remove.

Accuracy and changing equipment

We aim to explain systems accurately, but product specifications, firmware and platform behaviour can change. General examples do not guarantee compatibility with a particular model or configuration. Verify important details against current primary documentation. We may correct, replace or remove material without promising continuous availability.

References to Garmin, Wahoo, Hammerhead, Favero, SRAM, Shimano, SRM, Strava, TrainingPeaks and other organisations identify real-world equipment or services. Their names and marks belong to their respective owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the organisations mentioned.

Permitted use and intellectual property

You may read, link to and print reasonable extracts for personal reference or internal discussion with your coach or support staff, retaining attribution. This permission does not transfer ownership. Reproduction of substantial content, commercial republication or presentation as your own work requires permission unless applicable law permits it. Third-party images and materials remain subject to their owners’ rights.

Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, distribute malicious code or disrupt its operation. External links are provided as references, not guarantees about another service’s availability, accuracy or privacy practices.

Messages and local tools

The contact tool creates text locally. Copy and download actions depend on browser capabilities and permissions. You must send any message separately using your own email service. We do not promise a response, a response time or technical resolution. Do not send confidential credentials or material you are not entitled to share.

By sending an editorial correction, you permit us to evaluate and act on the factual information supplied. This does not authorise publication of your personal correspondence or identity without a separate lawful basis.

Liability and legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability for loss arising from reliance on general content, third-party services or interruptions beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
